We are two Ottawa lawyers practicing in business partnership and a couple in life. We dedicate our services to family and small business in the capital region. We are very responsive, and our clients will always deal with us directly.
Both of us immigrated to Canada from China around year of 2000 and have lived in Ottawa for more than a decade. Prior to law, both of us were trained in electrical engineering and had worked for high tech companies in the Kanata area of the capital region.

Lei receives his B.Eng and M.Eng from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China in 1992 and Zhejian University, China in 1997, respectively. He receives his J.D. from University of Alberta in 2008. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2009. He previously articled and practiced law with Mr. Paul J. Colin, a general practitioner in the Ottawa Region.
Lei primarily works with individuals and families with a focus on legal issues arising from personal and family context. His major areas of practices include residential real estate, family law, wills & estate, and civil dispute resolution.
Lei is a member of Law Society of Ontario.
Hui receives her B.Eng and M.Eng from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 1992 and 1995, respectively. She receives her J.D. from University of Alberta in 2008. She was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2009 and to the Bar in New York State in 2011. She previously articled and practiced law with Smart & Biggar, a Canadian leading intellectual property law firm.
Hui’s practices focus on small business, wills & estate, and civil dispute resolution, and real estate.
Hui is a current and/or past member of Law Society of Ontario, County of Carleton Law Association, New York State Unified Court System, and American Bar Association.
